Timber decking is one of the most attractive and durable exterior surfaces, but in Wanaka it faces unique challenges. What the Service Includes

We offer two tailored options to protect and restore your timber decking:

Ongoing Maintenance Packages:
Regular softwashing and application of quality penetrating oils (like Dryden OilStain or Cutek CD50) maintain water repellency, reduce UV damage, and keep your deck looking its best. Colortones can be applied to match your preferred look, providing a natural, ‘silvered off’ appearance while acting as a sunblock for the timber.

Full Deck Reset:
For older or weathered decking, we provide a full restoration to clean, prepare, and protect the timber, setting it up for long term care. This restores appearance, addresses surface checking, and ensures the deck is ready for regular maintenance programs.

Maintenance Tips

Annual Inspection & Softwash: Keep timber free from moss, mould, and debris to maintain appearance and prevent accelerated wear
Oiling Cycle: Most decks benefit from oiling every 2–3 years, though exposure, orientation, and climate can affect timing. Colortones help protect against UV and retain colour.
Preventative Care: High-quality penetrating oils nourish fibres, repel water, and help timber withstand freeze/thaw and wet/dry cycles. Most oils also include fungicides to reduce mould growth.
